School to School Support
SAF Teaching School Alliance is continuously developing partnerships and relationships with other schools, universities, providers and businesses. This will ensure that there is capacity to support schools and academies, to collaborate on delivery of provision and in developing high quality Teaching and Learning and to drive school improvement.
SDRs - School Development Review
SDRs are an essential mechanism of external support and challenge and an integral part of the continuous improvement journey for all our Academies.
We work with Ofsted Inspectors and School Improvement Advisers to help lead and coordinate the focus of the review and they are supported by a team of experienced and trained middle and senior leaders from across the Trust. The focus of the review is fully discussed with the Academy Principal whose priorities are decisive in setting the agenda. A full, confidential report is then written. An action plan is then compiled based on the reports findings and a follow up review set as and when needed.
SAF have open and honest relationships with all our stakeholders and the SDR serves as an important way of identifying need, providing targeted support and also celebrating and sharing success.
