As of September 2017 SAF consists of three primary academies and two secondary academies, a teaching school, a trading company and an initial teacher training arm. The three primaries are Harrold Primary Academy, Great Ouse Primary Academy and Oakley Primary Academy. The two secondaries are Lincroft Academy and Sharnbrook Academy.
Our MAT has grown and will continue to grow on the basis that schools who work together collaboratively are in the best position to improve outcomes for all the children in their care and to provide an outstanding educational experience for each individual student.
Our MAT has a passion for seeing all children succeed and we are guided in our decision-making by one question, “Is this in the best interests of children?”
This question does not just relate to academic progress. It also underpins our commitment to ensure that children’s wellbeing and self-esteem as learners and citizens, are central to what we do.
We expect that every member of our MAT community will strive to do their best and be the best that they can be. In return they can expect high quality development opportunities to support them.
SAF is committed to maintaining the individuality of every academy in the Trust within an overarching framework of support and challenge. We firmly believe in the concept of local schools for the local community.
The SAF Teaching School Alliance is committed to continuous school improvement and we have a wide range of CPD opportunities and links with external organisations to ensure that all staff receive the best possible training and experiences to enhance the learning environment and outcomes for all our young people.
